Benjamin Harrison 23rd President
Benjamin Harrison was born on August 20, 1833 in North Bend, Ohio. His grandfather was William Henry Harrison 9th President, and his great-grandfather signed the Declaration of Independence. Harrison's time in office worked on the economy mostly. However, he strengthened the navy, with a view of expanding the nation. He served 1 term from 1889-1893. He died on March 13, 1901 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
