John Tyler 10th President
John Tyler was born on March 29, 1790 on Charles City County, Virginia. When Harrison died John Tyler became the first vice-president to become president through a death of the president. Tyler was a Whig and often found himself as a non- Whig because his beliefs were different from his parties ideas. Although while he was president many called him names such as acting president because he wasn't voted to the top, I response to this Tyler never opened any mail what so ever that was addressed to "Acting President". Tyler died on January 18, 1862 in Richmond, Virginia.
